First cleared and farmed in the 1840s, Kubecka Farms was officially established in 1943 when Steve Kubecka acquired the land and started growing potatoes. The rich and sandy soil, left behind by ancient glaciers, is unique to this area and accentuates the delicious flavors of our fruits and vegetables! For over three generations, we have nurtured this land, diversifying our crops from potatoes to sweet corn and an ever-expanding array of fruits and vegetables. It’s our mission to grow and provide the highest quality and best-tasting produce possible from our farm to your family.
Nearly every fruit and vegetable we offer starts with seeds germinated in our greenhouses or fields, where we grow only time-tested and non-GMO varieties. We carefully cultivate and nurture over 60 different offerings, including bi-color and silver queen sweet corn, strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes, summer and winter squash, broccoli,
Nearly every fruit and vegetable we offer starts with seeds germinated in our greenhouses or fields, where we grow only time-tested and non-GMO varieties. We carefully cultivate and nurture over 60 different offerings, including bi-color and silver queen sweet corn, strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes, summer and winter squash, broccoli, melons, lettuces, peppers, potatoes, and pumpkins, ensuring the highest quality and best-tasting produce possible. From June to November, we provide our community with freshly picked produce daily, straight from our fields.
We host a variety of events throughout the year and would love to see you at some or all of them! Our events and activities include a ten-acre corn maze, Open Farm Day, school field trips, U-pick strawberries, Halloween fun, and much more! Specific times and dates will be available closer to each event – stay tuned and feel free to contact us for more information!
